Matthew + Wyatt : 1705 East Wedding
With Matthew and Wyatt their connection was instantaneous. Before ever meeting in person their casual conversations quickly turned into something deeper. During their first date they both immediately knew their connection was unlike any other. Wyatt says he knew right away by the way Matt looked into his eyes, which may have caused him to blush a bit! After a few foiled plans to propose during a special trip to the Biltmore, Matt got down on one knee and popped the question! Since the two share a love of food and good wine it was only natural for Wyatt to in return propose to Matt at what was supposed to be his special birthday dinner. Surprise!!
Wyatt and Matt were married at 1705 East in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends. Wyatt wore a black suit with a custom made white bow tie by one of his groomsmen, while each of the groomsmen wore matching seersucker bowties! Matt chose a gray suit and black bowtie to match the bridesmaids who looked beautiful in coordinating gray and white dresses. The black and white formal theme was highlighted throughout the day in the stunning flower arrangements and carefully designed decor. Even the cake was accented with white and black poppies wrapped in delicate black ribbon! Before the ceremony Matt and Wyatt chose to see each other for the first time through a private moment with a first look. While the two stood back to back there was such anticipation! The moment they turned around and saw each other for the first time all of those wedding day jitters faded away. With plenty of time before the ceremony the grooms were able to capture all of their family and bridal party portraits early on in the day. This allowed them to join in on cocktail hour and enjoy tasty hordurves alongside of all of their guests! The wedding celebration carried on throughout the night with mother and son dances where lets just say the moms weren’t the only ones crying (yes…it was me!). Memorable toasts were made including Matt’s sister who had everyone laughing recalling Wyatt’s fondness of Matt’s kickball uniform when they first started dating. With two incredible families like this there were a lot of laughs throughout the night!

Wyatt and Matt, I am honored that you chose me to capture your wedding day. The love you have for one another is infectious and your smiles always brighten my day. I am so grateful for you both and wish you all of the joy marriage brings!
