I absolutely love when one of my passions in my personal life can cross over with my love of photography. Shelby’s senior session was just that.
Every week I look forward to Sunday nights when I get to spend time with the high schoolers at my church’s youth group. My church family poured so much love into me when I was younger. When given the opportunity to come back to serve as a youth councilor, I was thrilled to come back. These kids light me up and encourage me week in and out. I am so thankful for them! For years I’ve watched Shelby grow up from an energetic and somewhat shy little lady to a confident, intelligent and incredible young woman. Just like every year, when graduation comes around I’m sure I will ball my eyes out as I give her a big hug goodbye. I’m thankful though she isn’t going far as she is following in the rest of her family’s footsteps and heading to NCSU! Go Wolfpack!
Shelby, I am so proud of you! I don’t think I have ever seen someone balance their every day life as well as you have. You stayed dedicated to your studies all while still pursuing your love for dance, cheer and lacrosse. Which earned you that acceptance letter!! Wohoo! At the same time you remain humble of your talents. Your leadership to our youth is one that sets an example of how to love and support one another. I can not wait to watch as you follow your dreams! Love you girl!
